The new CX series is a full NavStation allowing you to fit whatever type of navigation electronics is appropriate to your boat. The basic NavStation is a fully loaded GPS chartplotter using the very latest C-Map MAX cartography. To this can be added the new Simrad Yachting radar antenna with multiVision technology and one of the most advanced echosounders available to the leisure boating market. The complete NavStation provides a comprehensive navigation centre with the very latest technology developed by Simrad Yachting.

The system can be build step by step, or provided in whatever configuration is required. When adding the echosounder module, a number of transducer options are available to tailor the system to your needs, whether it is for fishfinding, accurate depth measurement, or both.

50 years of experience in commercial fishing technology gives Simrad Yachting's NavStation a distinct edge over other echosounder systems for leisure boats.

The radar function is already built-in, so all that is required to have a highly advanced radar system, is to add the new aerodynamic DX45 or DX60 radome antenna.

The new NavStation is also capable of interconnecting with SimNet, which gives any instrument the ability to share vital information with other equipment. No matter how harsh conditions are, sharp screens, fast update and sharing of information provides the full picture.

The new CX series with slimline color TFT displays allows the Simrad Yachting NavStations to provide even more information than previously possible, and with a clearer picture too.

You can select full screen, dual screen or even a split screen with radar, chartplotter and echosounder all at once. As skipper or navigator, you have the functionality you need at the push of a button.

Robust splashproof cabinets can be flush or bracket mounted in the wheelhouse, cockpit or flybridge. You can even select a SunView transflective screen for extreme sunlight condition, which makes the screen become brighter as the sunlight increases.

Enhanced chart system for total navigation

The award winning C-MAP NT electronic charts now have revolutionary enhancements in the MAX system. Precise and detailed vector charts enable window pop-ups with information on ports, navigation marks, lights, buoys, depth contours and more. Details can be turned on or off to suit the navigator's needs at any time. The required MAX C-card for the cruising area is inserted into a splashproof drawer on the NavStation front.

Greater accuracy with DGPS

SDGPS - Satellite Differential GPS uses signals from WAAS (US) or EGNOS (EU) to provide long range improvement of position accuracy. When a coastal DGPS beacon is in range the built in differential receiver will automatically lock onto the strongest beacons to provide an accuracy of 2 - 5 metres.

Full control with synchronized radar and chart

Simrad NavStation includes the radar function as standard and will just need to be attached to one of Simrads new generation antennas to provide a host of features for a safer and more relaxed voyage in all weather conditions, day or night.

The NavStation has been designed for easy and logic operation throughout and the radar function is no exception. The superb multiVision technology will enable a simultaneous view of both a close range radar image and a long range overview in two windows on the same screen .... providing the full picture, even in poor visibility.
