The IC-M323 from Icom has the same revolutionary design as the IC-M423. Featuring the common user interface that has been adopted in the latest Icom radios, including intuitive 'soft keys' permitting faster access to radio functions. The IC-M323 offers ease of use and value for money.
The user interface on the Icom Marine range of VHFs provides simple operation for the boat owner. A rotary selector and directional keypad provides a intuitive operation.
The large, high definition dot matrix display (38x73mm) allows all information to be be clearly displayed.
When connected to an external GPS receiver, current position and time are shown on the IC-M323's display. When receiving position data from another vessel, the IC-M323 can transfer it to a navigational device via NMEA0183 connectivity.
The IC-M323 meets the latest Class D regulations. The built in DSC watch function will monitor Ch. 70 (DSC Channel) activity, even when you are receiving another channel.

It is also possible to take advantage of the AIS target call function when the IC-M323 is connected to the optional MA-500TR Class B AIS Transponder. This allows you to set up an individual DSC call from the MA-500TR without having to manually input an MMSI Number.
This function allows for quicker channel selection. If you set the 'Tag' channel to the channels used most often, when pushing the up down buttons on the microphone, only the tagged channels are selected.
When connected to the Marine Commander, the received DSC message pops up in the multi function display.
The IC-M323 can withstand submersion in up to 1.0m depth of water for up to 30 minutes.
