Transducers

The heart of any acoustic device, echosounder, sonar or trawl monitor, is it's transducer. The transducer acts as both transmitter and receiver antenna. A poor quality transducer will reduce the instrument performance both on the transmission and receive cycles. This is referred to as 'two-way signal loss'. Echomaster Marine takes pride in offering only transducers known to give excellent performance, whether you are a leisure, fishing or commercial customer.

Simrad transducers are manufactured in a state of the art facility at their Horten base in Norway. Every transducer is individually tested and the results recorded on a database for future reference.

Our close co-operation with Airmar Europe, enables us to source a transducer, very often at short notice and, freight it direct to the vessel, at any location around the world.
