Echomaster Marine are pleased to announce that the Duthie family, who own the Fraserburgh based mid Water Pelagic Trawler MFV Sunbeam; have confirmed an order for a package of SIMRAD Fish-Finding equipment for their new-build project, a SALT Ship Design 0364 type Mid Water Trawler; being constructed in Vietnam and Norway by Myklebust Verft shipbuilding.
The package will include SIMRAD’s proven ST93 low frequency Omni directional sonar, new Mid-Frequency MF90 Omni directional sonar and three SIMRAD well proven ES80 Echo-Sounders with split-beam 38,120 and 200khz frequencies. Fish entering the net will be monitored by SIMRAD latest FX80i digital Trawlsonar with SIMRAD PX minicatch sensors monitoring the filling of the Cod-End when fishing.
